How the Survivor Pool Works
The Survivor Pool is an elimination-style prediction game inspired by NFL survivor pools. Each round, you pick one team you think will win their match. If they win, you survive. If they lose or draw (group stage), you're immediately eliminated. No second chances.
The catch: you can only use each team once during the entire tournament. With 48 teams and up to 8 rounds, managing which teams to use when is the heart of the strategy. Do you burn a powerhouse early for a guaranteed survive, or save them for the treacherous knockout rounds?

How the Bracket Challenge Works
The Bracket Challenge is a points-based prediction game where you forecast the entire tournament — group standings and knockout bracket winners. Unlike Survivor, there's no elimination. Every correct pick earns points, and later-round picks are worth more.
First, predict the finishing order (1st through 4th) for each of the 12 groups before the tournament starts. After the group stage, predict the winner of each knockout match — from the Round of 32 through the Final. The player with the most total points at the end wins.

WHY NOT PLAY BOTH?
Many groups run both a Survivor Pool and a Bracket Challenge simultaneously. It's the best of both worlds:
Double the engagement
Two formats mean two sets of picks, two leaderboards, and twice the conversation.
Different skills rewarded
Survivor rewards risk management. Bracket rewards tournament knowledge. Different winners.
Eliminated players stay invested
