PREMIER LEAGUE PICK'EM

Pick 5 results every gameweek — home, draw, or away. Sweep all 5 and take the pot. Nobody sweeps? It rolls over, and next week there's more on the line.

THE 5-PICK POT GAME

EPL Pick'em is a season-long prediction game built around one weekly question: can you call five Premier League results? Each gameweek you choose 5 of the fixtures and predict each one — home win, draw, or away win. Get all five right and you win the gameweek's pot. Multiple winners split it.

Five correct results sounds easy. It isn't. Draws happen in roughly a quarter of Premier League matches, favorites lose at lunchtime on Saturdays for no reason, and the pick constraints stop you from hiding behind the top of the table. Most gameweeks, nobody sweeps — and the pot rolls over. That's the engine of the game: the weeks stack, the pot grows, and a fiver-a-week office pool develops genuine tension by October.

Unlike a survivor pool, nobody is ever eliminated. A bad week costs you nothing but bragging rights, and every gameweek is a fresh shot at the pot. It's the format for groups that want something on every weekend of the season without the sudden-death heartbreak.

How It Works

1

Pick 5 Fixtures Each Gameweek

Choose any 5 of the gameweek's Premier League matches and call each result: Home, Draw, or Away.

2

Mind the Constraints

Max 2 top-4 teams picked to win, and max 2 home teams picked to win, per gameweek. Draws are unlimited.

3

Picks Lock at First Kickoff

Edit your slate as much as you like until the gameweek's first match kicks off. Then it's locked.

4

All 5 Correct Wins the Pot

Sweep your five and the gameweek's pot is yours. Multiple sweepers split it evenly.

5

Nobody Wins? It Rolls Over

Unclaimed pots carry into the next gameweek. Rollovers stack until someone finally sweeps.

6

38 Gameweeks of Chances

No eliminations, no dead weeks. Miss a gameweek and you're back in the next one.

The Rules

Every Gameweek

Max 2 top-4 winnersLive table decides who's top-4 (last season's for GW1)
Max 2 home winnersHome draws don't count against the limit

Final Gameweek — Commissioner's Call

If the pot is still unclaimed after gameweek 38, the commissioner's end-of-season rule (chosen at pool creation) decides what happens:

Split on season recordBest cumulative record over the season shares the pot
Carry to next seasonThe rollover survives the summer — GW1 starts loaded
Commissioner decidesThe group settles it however they agreed up front

Pick'em vs Last Man Standing

Golazo runs both season-long formats for the Premier League. Plenty of groups run one of each — the drama peaks in different places.

Commissioner Tools

A weekly-pot game means weekly admin: collecting entries, verifying five picks from every player, scoring ten matches, tracking the rollover. Golazo does all of it except hold the money.

Payment & Pot Tracking

See who's in each week and how big the pot is — including stacked rollovers. Commissioners collect and pay out; Golazo keeps the ledger.

Automated Reminders

Day-before and last-call reminders by email and push before every gameweek locks. Fewer missed slates, fuller pots.

Live Scoring

Results come in from the real matches. Sweeps, splits, and rollovers are computed automatically — constraint rules enforced at pick time.

Four Languages

English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese — the whole pool plays in their own language.

Free for pools with up to 5 members; larger pools pay a small one-time hosting fee — see pricing. Pools can be created or joined at any point in the 2026-27 season, which kicks off August 21, 2026.
