TWO WAYS TO PLAY SERIE A
A Serie A pool is a season-long game you play with your own group — friends, family, the office chat — built on the Italian top flight. Golazo runs two formats side by side, and your commissioner picks the one that fits the group.
Survivoris the sudden-death classic: every giornata, back one of the 20 clubs to win outright. Win and you advance; lose or draw and you're out. You can never reuse a club, and the last player standing takes the pot. In Serie A, where draws are common and the calendar runs 38 rounds, surviving the whole way is a genuine feat.
Pick'emis the forgiving one. Each round you pick 5 of that giornata's 10 fixtures and call every result — home win, draw, or away win. Sweep all five and you win that round's share of the rolling pot; miss one and the pot rolls forward. Nobody gets eliminated, so pots build up and the whole group stays in it to the final matchday.
How It Works

Make Your Picks Each Giornata
In survivor, back one club to WIN. In pick'em, choose 5 fixtures and call each result. Change your mind until the first kickoff.
Survivor: Lose or Draw and You're Out
No overtime in league play, so a draw counts as a loss unless your commissioner enabled draws-survive. One slip-up ends your run.
Pick'em: All 5 Right Wins the Pot
Sweep the round and you take that giornata's share of the rolling pot. Miss one and it rolls over to the next matchday.
Survivor: Every Club Only Once
Used clubs are off your board — until you've burned all 20, when the slate resets (commissioner option).
Miss the Deadline, Take the L
No pick when the giornata locks counts as a loss (survivor) or a miss (pick'em). Reminders by email and push keep you ahead of it.

Start Anytime in 2026-27
The 2026-27 Serie A season kicks off around August 22, 2026and runs 38 giornate through late May 2027. Pools can be created and joined at any point in the season, so a pool starting at giornata 10 works exactly like one starting at giornata 1 — whether you're playing survivor or pick'em.
