ONE LEAGUE, TWO GAMES
A La Liga pool turns the Spanish season into a season-long competition with your friends. Golazo runs it on the real fixture list — all 20 clubs, all 38 jornadas — and you choose which game your group plays.
In a La Liga survivor pool (the elimination format the Brits call Last Man Standing and Americans know as a survivor or knockout pool), every jornada you back one club to win. Win and you move on; lose or draw and you're out. You can never reuse a club, so you can't ride Real Madrid or Barcelona all season — and the last player alive takes the whole pot.
In a La Liga pick'em (the classic Spanish quinielaformat), there's no elimination. Each jornada you pick 5 of the ten fixtures and call each result — home win, draw, or away win. Nail all five and you win the rolling pot; if nobody does, it carries over and grows into next jornada. Everyone plays every week, so nobody is ever out of it.
How It Works

Survivor: Back One Club a Jornada
From that jornada's ten fixtures, pick one club to WIN. Win and you advance; each club can only be used once.
Survivor: Lose or Draw and You're Out
No overtime in La Liga, so a draw counts as a loss unless your commissioner enabled draws-survive.
Pick'em: Call 5 of the 10 Fixtures
Each jornada, pick five matches and call each one — home, draw, or away. All five right takes the rolling pot.

Start Anytime in 2026-27
The 2026-27 La Liga season kicks off in mid-August 2026and runs through late May 2027 — 38 jornadas of Spanish football. Pools can be created and joined at any point in the season, so a pool starting at jornada 10 works exactly like one starting at jornada 1. Pick'em players score from whenever they join; survivor late-joiners start fresh from the current jornada.
